Titan to Tachyons
Titan to Tachyons is an NYC based jazz-metal outift led by guitarist Sally Gates, with Matt Hollenberg, Trevor Dunn, and Kenny Grohowski.
Instrumentally depicting the realms of surrealistic sci-fi, the band make use of angular and experimental passages, juxtaposed by fluid grooves and metallic flurries.

Taulant Mehmeti
Kosovo born Albanian guitarist Taulant Mehmeti is a natural improviser, drawing upon the rich Balkan rhythms and gypsy music he grew up hearing and playing. Along with his deep interest in jazz and Django Reinhardt, Charlie Parker, and Wes Montgomery as major influences, his musical sensibility is equally informed by funk, rock, and world music genres. Taulant's music weaves these bright strands into a shimmering tapestry of his own creation. Now an active performer on the New York scene, Mehmeti has played, as a leader and a sideman, in venues including The Blue Note Jazz Club, B.B.Kings, and Iridium.
